Heat exchange equipment

In 2024, after many rounds of negotiations and a thorough audit of production processes and areas, Tobol became the exclusive distributor of the largest manufacturer of heat exchange equipment in the Middle East, the Iranian company TGT Co.

We report this with special joy and pride, because since the departure of Western companies in Russia, no worthy and high-tech replacements have appeared in most areas of heat exchange equipment.

Taha Ghaleb Toos (TGT Co.) began designing and manufacturing new plate heat exchanger technologies in 2009 in the Mashhada industrial area.
All products are developed and manufactured at six industrial sites with a total area of ​ ​ more than 30,000 square meters and are divided into five specialized areas:

  • heat exchange,
  • special pumps and valves,
  • cleaning and separation,
  • production and restoration of rotating equipment,
  • pelletizing systems (pelletizers).

TGT Co. develops and manufactures new generations of plate heat exchangers using with a team of more than 350 experts who are specialists in modern heat exchange solutions and doctors and professors of science at universities in Canada and Iran.

TGT Co. is the first and largest manufacturer of plate heat exchangers in the Middle East. The ultimate goal of all products is to optimize energy and water consumption and reduce energy costs by using the latest knowledge and equipment.
Demountable plate heat exchangers
The main product of TGT is gasket plate heat exchangers (GPHE), which are used in a wide range of different industries. The fluid channels in the gasket plate heat exchangers are sealed with rubber gaskets manufactured by our rubber gasket manufacturing site. This heat exchanger has a low maintenance and production time compared to other types of plate heat exchangers. The main application of this heat exchanger is in the oil and gas, petrochemical, steel, energy, marine, as well as in the domestic industries of cooling and heating. The operating temperature range of GPHE is up to 180 degrees Celsius, and the pressure range is up to 25 bar.
Semi-welded heat exchanger
In some cooling or heating processes, the pressure or temperature of one side exceeds 180 degrees Celsius and 25 bar. Some applications use a hazardous and toxic fluid on one side of the process fluid. For such applications, semi-welded plate heat exchangers are used which have the same structure as the gasket plate heat exchanger, however, instead of all plates being gasketed, half of the plates are laser welded together.
Plate heat exchanger Taha-BLOC
This type of heat exchanger (assembly) operates at a higher temperature and pressure than gasket heat exchangers because the plate pack is completely laser welded. This product is one of TGT’s fully welded plate heat exchangers capable of withstanding temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius and pressures up to 40 bar.
Soldered plate heat exchanger
The soldered plate heat exchanger consists of stainless steel plates that are soldered together in a vacuum furnace. Solder sealing technology eliminates the need for gaskets and heavy frames compared to gasket plate heat exchangers. This type of plate heat exchanger was designed to operate at high pressures and temperatures, and can also withstand a wide temperature range from 100 to 400 degrees Celsius and up to 30 bar of pressure.
Welded disc heat exchanger
The TAHA-Disk welded disc heat exchangers combine the advantages of demountable and shell and tube heat exchangers.
The principle of operation of the heat exchanger is based on the effect of heat transfer through the wall from a hot coolant to a cold one. Plates in cassette are welded in pairs to each other in ports, and then along perimeter. Thus, one medium circulates in the space of the plates, and the other in the space of the casing, performing heat exchange through the corrugated surface of the plate.

This type of heat exchanger has the highest parameters of temperature, pressure and efficiency compared to other types of heat exchangers
